Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Bryant Families,  

I am excited to return to Bryant as your Assistant Principal! I look forward to meeting all of you very soon if we don't already know each other! Until then, here’s a short intro about myself. I attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Moore, graduating in 2002 from Moore High School. I graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2007 with a bachelor's in music education. I began my career in Purcell, Oklahoma, as one of the band directors. Later, I completed my Early Childhood certification and joined the Bryant Elementary team. I taught Kindergarten and served as the school’s Targeted Intervention Specialist, primarily focusing on grades 3-6. I graduated in the summer of 2021 with my master's in education administration, curriculum, and supervision, from the University of Oklahoma. This will be my fourth year as an Assistant Principal in Moore!  

My husband, David, has been the band director in Purcell for over 24 years! Our son, Oliver, will begin third grade at Heritage Trails this fall. We also have a spunky long-haired dachshund. I am an avid runner, and I love to travel, especially to Disney destinations! 

My vision is to instill a lifelong love of learning while nurturing the education of the whole child. Creativity, collaboration, community, and critical thinking should be fostered in a safe environment by highly qualified, dedicated educators. We will always work towards the goal of doing what is best for kids by equipping our educators with the most effective tools and support. The lessons, love, and achievement gained in our school will follow our students to their academic and life journey ahead after they leave our building.
